I started New Horizons Real Estate because Colorado is in the midst of an affordability crisis and people need help. I want you to keep more money in your pocket so you can afford more.
I honestly don't need the extra money from operating like other real estate agencies. My family and I have a comfortable lifestyle and that's enough for me. I want to give back and that's why we do what we do for our clients.
I've been in Colorado since 2006. I was born in Oregon (and a piece of my heart will always be near the ocean and in the forests), but Colorado is home and the mountains are a sanctuary to me.
For 15 years I worked as an air traffic controller; keeping travelers safe, working with highly intelligent and talented people, and participating in one of the most important aspects of our country's infrastructure. I negotiated and collaborated with the FAA on behalf of the National Air Traffic Controllers Associate, one of the strongest unions in the US, and I developed strong negotiation skills from this experience.
I moved into real estate because I wanted to be closer to people and participate in arguably the most important event of peoples’ lives: The Journey of Home Ownership.
I’ve been serving my communities for many years:
-High Plains Library District Foundation (2021-present): Board Member & Chairman for the Strategic Planning Committee and Financial Planning committee as well as Treasurer of the Foundation.
-Vice President, HOA (2024-present): Saved community $15,000+.
-Elementary Accountability Committee (2024)
-Sports Coach (2015-2019)
-Camp and Festival Volunteer (2005-present)
The list goes on, but simply put, I care deeply for the people around me.
I believe in sharing the abundance of good fortune, and that’s what led me to start New Horizons Real Estate and make it our mission to give back to clients during their real estate journeys.
